As an Icebreaker Assignment upon returning to Sunday school after our long Christmas break, the children were asked, " If you could go back in time and be part of a Bible story, which one would it be and why?" We were all over the place - from Noah's Ark to the Garden of Eden and then into the New Testament. Sophia even drew a precious illustration of her favorite Bible story - the Birth of Jesus. That was a popular one.
It was a fun to use our creative energy in a way that made us think about some of what we have learned in class. Now it's time to pick up our pace as our older students move closer to receiving the sacraments of which they are in need.
