When the wind starts blowing, and you begin to lean in.
Perhaps, your tilt is all-wrong.
If you want to withstand the weight of the storm,
Stand up, deep breathe, and stay strong.
Just like Peter, when he stepped out of the boat
He was able to walk on the waves.
As long as his eyes kept focused on Christ,
He was confident, and able and brave.
Next time you face a raging sea,
And your world gets topsy-turvy.
Seek first His face and then His steady hand,
Knowing that you are worthy.
His mercy is never ending -
His almighty power there for you.
Nothing is impossible,
If your faith in Him is true.
But be aware that evil lurks,
God’s message can get scrambled.
The confusion and the lies are told,
To make you feel unable.
So when you lean not on your own understanding.
And you trustingly submit to His will.
Expect that the hole in your boat disappears,
And the waves in your life to grow still.
Know our God can control ALL of nature.
But to you He gave a choice.
Truly He wants you to learn selfless love,
And to hear your inner voice rejoice.
Extraordinary insight with much food for thought. A beautiful message for a troubled world that truly needs to tap the inner strength that God has given.
