My Heavenly Father

God is my Father in Heaven.  He made me special.  He wants me to do and be my best because there is only one of me in this world.  He wants me to use all the talents He has given me in a way that is pleasing to Him. 

Activity:  Have a meeting and talk about what makes your family special and how you might celebrate the talents that God has given each of you.  Practice reciting the Our Father.  This is the perfect prayer taught to us by Jesus.  (Matthew 6:9)

Our Father, who art in Heaven

Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.  AMEN
