Caught in limbo
Somewhere in between
This place we call earth
And a dimension yet unseen.
The fight seems futile
Machines that never tire
Saving a beaten body
Delaying her heart's desire.
To let go of this worldly familiar
To seek out His magnificent face
To reunite with loving family
Who previously took their place.
So why feel uncertain
When we can stand firm on promises made
To bring comfort to the mourning
And peace to those afraid.
Sure in the knowledge that she will be whole again
Her spirit free to explore
To experience the fullness of God's majesty
As she knocks happily on Heaven's door.
